Once again the boys ventured to Hong Kong for another night at the office in the Libogen fight series.
Kershall Wallace joined Aaron "TS2" Leigh and Ben "Pixie" Burton as they headed over for a night of international bouts.
Kershall was rematching Bryan "Stormy Boy" To.
This fight was going great for Kershall who was standing back and using long range kicks which seem to put Bryan off. When Bryan did come in Kershall punched him and in the 3rd round he hit him with a straight right that had the Stormy Boy wobbled. Stormy was content to throw on the counter with some nice kicks but that was about it.
After all was said and done a points decision to Stormy Boy, much to Mark Pease and the crowds dismay.
TS2 was next and started well with nice punch combos, managing to stay out of range. Mark could see this boy was unfit and in the second Aaron landed a nice elbow which opened up a nice cut on the forehead. Ruang was just trying to bomb Aaron with punches and elbows by this stage, but in the 3rd he got caught again by the elbow of Aaron opening up another cut that the doctor let go. 4th round and both boys were landing big bombs and both were lucky that alot missed but then Aaron timed an elbow perfectley when Ruang walked foward and good nite to him. TS2 winner by KO.
Last was Pixie Burton vs against the thai super star Saiyoknoi Sakchainarong. This was looking to be a fantastic fight when the the thai boy let go a kick that even Yodsanklai would have missed but Pixie just got it on the glove. Lucky but from there Pixie threw 2 power leg kicks of his own, and then bang a big right hook rocks Pixie and the follow through elbow cuts Pixie in the hairline.
The doctor took a look at the cut and decided to call the fight off. Very disappointing as it was a small cut not even requiring stitches, wasn't impeding the vision and close to the end of the round whcih would have given Mark a chance to work on the cut.
Despite some iffy decisions, the boys all had a good time, being treated like superstars. It took Aaron 22 minutes to walk the 25 odd metres back from the ring to the change room! There was huge bill boards around town with there photos as well as TV and radio ads!
