Saturday night saw Paul Demicoli and Prophecy Promotions bring us the third Instalmant of the Eruption series in Beenleigh.
This saw the return of "DDD" Dirty Danny Derdowski against Nuggets rising star Tyson Napier. Also on the card, fresh from his fight in Hong Kong against Thai superstar Saiyaknoi was Ben "Pixie" Burton.
First up was Danny and Tyson. Well welcome back DDD as this was vintage fighting. He and Mark Pease worked a plan to stay up on the toes, to be smart and kick left side, and box. Every round Dan did this to perfection with Tyson coming back now and again with a bomb. In the 4th more of the same and then Dan got hit with what looked like an elbow, and he went to the ropes with his hands up. Tyson tried to get a good shot in but no way was it happening and then from out of no where, Dan launched a jumping knee and a few elbows which looked more from a movie than the ring but it just proved how much DDD was in control.
Last round same thing with Danny controlling Tyson with his big left kick and boxing skills great to watch..
Winner DDD unaniomus points.
Main event time and it was Pixie and Superboy. Well we all know how Pixie starts slow and the thai, being a crafty one, decided he would try and end it early with some short sharp elbows which opened up a nice cut in the middle of Pixie's forehead. As Mr C worked on that Mark told Pixie he had to pick up the pace. As he did in the the last 3 rounds, he was actually doing what he wanted. Landing nice kicks and body shots, and some nice elbows of his own, he really was a master at work. Pixie just likes to take his time and work them out first.
Once again Pixie's hand was raised in victory in a close but well fought fight.
