Well its shaping up as a busy end to 2007 for the team at Strikeforce Gym

It all starts of with SFG Glamour girl Lucy James heading to Singapore to fight on the undercard of the Contender. After a long stint in Thailand over Chistmas at the WMC Camp in Koh Samui, she impressed Stephan Fox with her training and performed well in her fight at Lamai Stadium to see her get a spot on this prestigious show! She heads over for her fight on the 14th!

Next up in early October is Rachel Purdee on Look Peuns Warriors at War. At this stage she is matched with Angie Parrs new prodigy Sarah O'connell.
Then Roy Luxton and Daniel Lima are holding another of there Inspirit Challenge kickboxing and MMA shows at the Monaco Street PCYC. Ben Peasley will be back in centre ring for that after a strong performance on the last Inspirit Challenge.

Late October rolls around with the next instalment of War On The Shore on the 27th. Main lining is the one and only Aaron "TS2" Leigh taking on a tough boy from Hong Kong, Man Kok. Danny "DDD" Derdowski takes on a tough boy from France and Evan Morris does battle with SCTBC Robbie Filliponi in what promises to be a war of knees and elbows!
Other SFG fighters include Daniel Moulder, Brodie Smith and Mark Lucchiari!

The next week sees the girls pack their bags again as Amy Dutton and Lucy James jet off to Auckland NZ to fight in the Primetime show.
The 10th of November sees Paul Demicoli making a return to the promoters circle and at this stage the Evil Pixie Ben Burton is slated down as the main event. Just waiting to confirm a few details.
Ben Counsel has been matched with Masa Muay Thais Clayton Collier in one of the semi main events. Also looking to be matched is Up and coming middleweight Trent "Bag work" Harding and the star of the future (and possibly the youngest fighter ever featured in International Kickboxer) Arkheem Lucchiari!

Thankfully for Mark and the training team things quieten down, if only for a couple of weeks leading in to Evolution in December with Pixie and TS2 likely to fight on the JWP vs Buakaw por Pramuk.
Then its off to Melbourne for the Sityodtong Show where Danny Derdowski, Brodie Smith and Lucy James are all booked.
Throw in to the training mix the welcome addition of Ben Counsel, Matt McTavish and Kershall Wallace who have come to us after the K6 Centre moved further north and Wayne Mead who is looking to receive some guidance from Mark Pease and its making for some really busy nights down at the gym!

Lucy James is fresh off the plane from her trip to Singapore where she was on the undercard to The Contender Asia fights.
Lucy took on a tough Thai Girl Lek. In what was aparently one of the fights of the night (from the limited reports you can get out of the top secret production) Lucy lost a close battle on points.
She is now back in the gym getting ready for the Primetime all girls show in Auckland in November.

Also in action recently was Gem Ozdermecelik. Fightin in Melbourne on a Fightforce promotion Gem had a rematch with Lee Garap for the IKBF South Pacific Welter Weight title. After a five round war last time Gem came out of the gates firing and went to work! After putting on a vicious display in the first with some strong knees and that trademark overhand right Gem scored an 8 count on Lee. The round ended and Lee couldn't come out for the second crowning Gem the new Champion!
